Ilkley Grammar School’s under-15 girls’ team, national champions in 2008, 2009 and 2010, are preparing for a tour of the Caribbean as ambassadors of the England and Wales Cricket Board’s (ECB) Lady Taverners.
Players from all three campaigns will travel on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Oasis of the Seas and play matches against schools at Nassau Cricket Club, The Montessori School, St Thomas and Milton Peter’s College, St Maarten.
The tour is sponsored by local firm Osprey Special Risks Yacht Insurance.
