GUISELEY have confirmed that their current longest serving player Adam Haw has left the club to sign for Pontefract Collieries.

The academy graduate striker stepped up to the first team in the 2020/21 campaign and has made over 50 appearances across the three campaigns since.

Haw scored his first senior Lions goal in just his second appearance to earn a 1-1 draw away at Kettering Town in the cut short 20/21 campaign.

The Ilkley lad struck again in the same campaign to cap off a 2-0 FA Trophy win over Chorley at Nethermoor.

During his time with the Lions the striker has had loan spells with Mickleover and Atherton Collieries.

Haw was offered a new contract with the club for next season but has opted to join Pontefract where he could feature alongside several former Lions including Gavin Rothery, Adam Priestley and Lloyd Allinson.

The club said: “We would like to thank Adam for all of his efforts with the club over the years and wish him the best of luck for his future career.”
