GUISELEY have announced their end of season retained list, whilst thanking all of the departing players for their efforts at the club.

Loan players returned to parent clubs – Ethan Kachosa, Courtney Meppen-Walters, Harvey Rowe, Benni Smales-Braithwaite and Harrison Nejman.

Players under contract for 2023/24 season – Jameel Ible, Lewis Whitham, Cam Mason and Scott Bakkor.

Players offered terms of reengagement – Kwame Boateng, Callum Chippendale, Kallan Murphy, Adam Haw and Leigh Whelan.

Players released – Shane Smeltz, Jake Cassidy, Nat Crofts, Spencer Harris, George Smith, Morgan Bacon, Alejandro Machado and Ben Woods.

Players invited to preseason training – Andy Kellett, Lewis Hey, Lewis Gardner, Hagie Damba, Ross Daly, Foley Nkem, Oliwier Grezelak, Sam Nicholson, Mark Lees and Miguel Valsau.

In other news, Paul Phillips’ Lions side will head to Brighouse for a pre-season friendly in August.

In what is anticipated to be Guiseley’s final friendly before the start of competitive action Phillips’ men will head to the Yorkshire Payments Stadium on Saturday 5 August in a 3pm kick-off.

Ticket details will be confirmed and announced on Guiseley’s social media channels.

Brighouse finished 8th in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Division One East last season under Vill Powell’s management.

The Lions have already confirmed friendlies with Curzon Ashton and Scarborough at Nethermoor, with the latter taking place on Tuesday 25 July in a 7:45pm kick-off.
