PLANNING for the 2023/24 season is in full swing and Guiseley have confirmed the details of a friendly with Curzon Ashton.

The Nash will make the trip to Nethermoor on Saturday 15 July, 2023 in a 3pm kick-off.

Ticket details and further friendlies will be confirmed in due course.

Paul Phillips has already secured the services of Jameel Ible, Cam Mason, Lewis Whitham and Scott Bakkor for next season, while the addition of midfielder Liam Tongue was announced yesterday as the club continue to work on new signings and the retention of more players.

In other news, subject to appeal and FA ratification, the make-up of the 2022/23 Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division has been confirmed.

The league will have 22 sides with one automatic promotion opening, four play off places and four relegation spots.

New to the division are six clubs, Basford United, Bradford (Park Avenue), Ilkeston Town, Macclesfield, Workington and Worksop Town.

Basford United and Ilkeston Town have switched back to the Premier Division after competing in Southern League Central Division last season, Bradford (Park Avenue) were relegated from the Vanarama National League North, with Macclesfield, Workington and Worksop all gaining promotions to join the league.
