ADDINGHAM have been handed a plum draw in the first round of the Aire-Wharfe League’s Waddilove Cup on Sunday, May 14.

Last season’s seventh-placed Division One club will be at home to league champions Rawdon, who were beaten in the 2022 cup final by Steeton.

Tong Park Esholt, promoted last season as Division Two runners-up, will be at home to Burley, while the third all-Division One tie was the last match drawn – Collingham & Linton v North Leeds.

Division Two champions Pool will host Division Three Menston, while Division One runners-up Otley will also face third-tier opposition at home in Thackley.

Olicanian will visit defending champions and fellow Division Two club Steeton, while Horsforth, relegated from Division Two, are at Kirkstall, who travelled in the opposite direction.

Top-flight Horsforth Hall Park are at Division Two Colton, while third-tier Guiseley also face second-tier opposition with a trip to Bardsey.

Ilkley will be at home to Harden in a clash between relegated clubs, while Division Two Green Lane will test themselves against visitors New Rover’s much-vaunted batters.
