ILKLEY brother and sister Ethan and Freya Whiteside both finished in the top 15 of their respective races in the final round of the National Trophy Cyclo-Cross Series at Gravesend last weekend.
Freya, a Shibden Cycling Club member, was ninth in the female junior race in 39min 20sec, while Ethan, who rides for Prologue Racing Team, was 11th in the men’s under-23 race.
Elsewhere, Eldwick's Sophie Thackray (Paul Milnes Bradford Olympic) finished a superb second in the final round of the National Trophy Cyclo-Cross Series at Gravesend.
