FORMER European Tour player and current professional, Liam Bond, collected the Yorkshire Ian Woosnam Senior Invitational trophy towards the end of last week.
The event took place over a two day period, starting on September 16, and Bond was able to successfully defend his title, with a round of 64, following his previous win of 65.
Matthew Court followed closely in second with a round of 65.
The competition proved to be a fascinating spectacle, with an incredible showcase of the quality of golf here in Yorkshire, welcoming professionals and amateurs to Ilkley Golf Club.
For spectators, after not being able to attend the event the previous year due to Covid, it will have been a real treat for those in attendance.
It involved a star-studded lineup, including former England defender and now turned pundit, Danny Mills, Olympic medallist Nile Wilson and rugby-league legend Danny McGuire.
