Ilkley will be hoping to scuttle their bogey side North Ribblesdale when they visit Settle on Saturday.

After the match the players are heading off to a pirate-themed fancy dress event at Stacks Field.

And coach Rhys Morgan is wanting his side to sink without trace their dismal record against Ribb.

“They have always seemed to get one over on us in recent years so it is time we put the record straight,” he said.

“We will certainly be keeping an eye out for their young full back because he went the length of the field three times at our place.”

Morgan was referring to teenager Robbie Davidson who has since followed up his spectacular debut with more thrilling displays.

“We know what he can do now and will be trying to make sure he doesn’t get the opportunities to do the same again,” added Morgan.

Ilkley will have stand off Mike Cacchia back after missing last Saturday’s win over Dinnington.

Craig Barker deputised for him and is due to revert to centre against North Ribblesdale.

Second row Nick Brook picked up an injury against Dinnington, but Kris Stafford is available to come in after playing in the second team last week.

Morgan added: “The players have shown a pleasing attitude in recent weeks, I just hope we can do that again and finally get the better of North Ribblesdale.”
