FORMER MP Greg Mulholland is to perform at this year’s Rawdon Village Show.
Mr Mulholland, who previously represented Leeds North West, will appear with his band Summercross. Mr Mulholland, who lost his seat in last year’s general election, first sang with the five piece acoustic folk band in 2014.
The village show will be held at Micklefield Park, New Road Side, from 2pm to 5.30pm on Saturday, June 30
Application forms for a variety of competitions are available at Rawdon Community Library.
A spokeswoman for the show said: “If you can bake it, make it, grow it, paint it then there will be a competition for you. There will be lots of Paddington Bear themed categories for younger children.”
The Show will be officially opened by the Lord and Lady Mayoress of Leeds, Graham and Pat Latty.
