THERE was great excitement at Moorfield School in Ilkley this week as the children demonstrated a wealth of musical, acting and dance skills in their own version of Britain’s Got Talent!

The finalists performed in front of a packed hall of family and friends. The youngest performer was only six years old. The guest judges were Andrew Dunlop, Northern Ballet pianist, Kate South, ex-pupil and previous winner of Moorfield’s Got Talent and Mr Josh Hemingway, one of Moorfield’s multi-talented staff. The children were delighted with the comments from the adjudicators who were very impressed by the diversity and talent of all the performers.

Miss Hetty McMurray, F1 teacher who organised the event said “All the children performed with creativity and confidence that has developed in their years at Moorfield School making us all very proud of them."
