PEACE protesters will stage a demonstration outside RAF Menwith Hill next week.
Keep Space for Peace week will be held at the intelligence gathering base's main gate from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, October 10.
The event, which will be attended by protesters from Otley, is part of an international week of protest called by the Global Network Against Weapons and Power in Space.*
Yorkshire CND will join with the Menwith Hill Accountability Campaign (MHAC) at the demonstration, while speakers will include Jenny Clegg, CND Chair Dave Webb, and Professor Nick Ritchie from York University.
Juneseo Hwang, a South Korean student in Peace Studies, will also give a South Korean perspective on the current situation in North Korea.
The protest, which will include music, food and hot drinks, is open to all with free transport being organised from Bradford and Leeds.
