SPINAL Research are hosting their annual Raceday at Wetherby Racecourse’s Opening Meeting of the 2017/18 Jump Season on Wednesday, October 18.
Now in its 27th successive year, the event is a highlight for many Yorkshire race goers. Ilkley resident, Robert Shelton is a trustee of the charity and heads up the Spinal Research Wetherby Race Day Committee.
“Spinal Research is a charity that is very close to the hearts of many guests who attend as many of us know someone who has been unfortunate enough to suffer a spinal cord injury," he said. "Attending this special day helps fund research to develop effective treatments for the devastating effects of paralysis.”
For £65 a ticket, guests enjoy a champagne reception and three course lunch in the exclusive Spinal Research Hospitality Marquee in the heart of the action. This is followed by an exciting days racing with an auction and raffle in aid of Spinal Research. Tickets are now on sale, if you would like to attend, then visit https://www.wetherbyracing.co.uk/
