THE annual Ilkley Motor Club Classic Car Run organised by Kevin Goodings and David Lambourne raised over £400 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Over 50 cars and 100 people set off on a 80 mile run in the Yorkshire Dales starting and finishing in Threshfield.
Cars from the 1930s included a Railton and an HRG, a Mercedes and a Standard 10 from the 50's and plenty of MGs from the 60s and 70s.
The route to Reeth went via Kettlewell, Middleham and Castle Bolton with lunch taken on the green at Reeth. The afternoon route took in the villages of Askrigg, Bainbridge, Aysgarth and Buckden en route back to the finish at Threshfield.
