CHILDREN at an Otley school have been trying everything from martial arts to Irish dancing as part of a Health Week.
Pupils at Ashfield Primary also had a go at martial arts, yoga, golf, and bowling during the annual event last week.
They enjoyed a bread-making talk - including a popular tasting session - from Bondgate Bakery, too, and found out more about the likes of the Heart Research Foundation and Leeds Rugby Foundation.
Orchard Centre - the Key Stage 2 learning support facility at Ashfield - manager Jo Featherstone said said: "The children thoroughly enjoyed the week and have been looking forward to new experiences each day.
"The school would like to thank the providers for their generosity and support."
The organisations that took part were: Bondgate Bakery; Asda; Footloose Dance; Dance with Cherry Standeven; Aegis Martial Arts; Cookridge Hall Golf; Yoga with Angela Georgeson; Helping Hearts with the Heart Research Foundation; Leeds Rugby Foundation; Dan Shaffrey and Ibextrex; Irish dancing; Warburtons; and Wharfemeadows Bowling Club.
