BUS timetables in Wharfedale, Aireborough and Horsforth are to change this weekend and changes to train services are due in May.

Bus services calling at Otley, Guiseley, Horsforth and Ilkley will have new timetables from this weekend, with one service being withdrawn and replaced by a revised timetable on two services.

West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive is also publicising new train timetables due to come in on the Airedale and Wharfedale Lines on May 17.

Services on these routes are being re-timed in readiness for the opening of the new stations at Kirkstall Forge and Apperley Bridge.

Among the bus services affected by changes on Sunday will be the 33, 33A and X33, connecting Leeds, Horsforth, Guiseley and Otley.

The X33 is being withdrawn, and a revised timetable brought in on the 33 and 33A by the operator, First, in an effort to improve reliability and punctuality.

On Monday to Saturday daytime, service 33 will operate every ten minutes to Guiseley White Cross and service 33A every 20 minutes between Leeds and Otley.

A revised timetable will be introduced for the service X84 with the aim of improving reliability and punctuality.

There will be further changes to the service 30, operating in Horsforth, service 97, running between Leeds, Headingley, Horsforth and Guiseley, as well as airport services 737, 747, and 757.

A revised timetable will be brought in on the service 781, connecting Leeds, Harewood, Weardley and Otley.

Starting on May 3, summer DalesBus timetables will come into effect.

The service 800 will not operate in summer 2015. Alternative facilities are available on connecting services 871, 874, and 857.

The DalesBus services 818, 820 and 821, running between Dewsbury, Bradford, Otley and Richmond will be reintroduced for 2015, running every Sunday and Public Holiday from May 3 until September 27.

Connections are available at Otley with service 870/874 to Buckden and service 884 to Malham, and at Pateley Bridge with service 825 to Middlesmoor.
