THE planting of more than 400 trees on Otley Chevin has been marked with a commemorative plaque.
The Rotary Club of Otley Chevin, assisted by the 2nd Otley Scouts, installed about 420 new trees which were located in the Forest Park in November, 2013.
They had been awarded to the Rotary Club as part of a conservation project that was being run by the Woodland Trust.
Some of the Rotarians from the club, and some of the Scouts gathered on the Chevin again last weekend to watch the plaque, marking the mass planting, unveiled among the young trees.
