Police are appealing for help after jewellery with sentimental value was stolen from a house in Otley.

The burglary took place on Oatlands Drive between 9.45am and 11.45am on Friday, June 6.

The stolen items included a gold signet ring with the initials JRP on the inside, a ladies 14-carat gold signet ring, and a men's Seiko wristwatch with a gold strap and a coffee-coloured face.

Also taken were a ladies eternity ring with diamond chippings, a ladies gold engagement ring with a single middle diamond and two diamonds on either side, on a twisted band - as pictured - and cash.

PC Sam Warburton said: "At the time of the burglary a silver 4x4 vehicle was seen in the area with a white female with bleached blonde hair in the passenger seat.

"It has not been confirmed that this vehicle was involved but we would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious at the time or who has any information that could assist the investigation.

"We are also keen to hear from anyone who may have been offered any of the items of jewellery for sale."

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC 4684 Warburton at Weetwood Police Station via 101, or to call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
