The Grove Bookshop in Ilkley has organised an evening with Roger Davy and Dennis Warwick, looking at the Yorkshire textile industy and its role in social history.

Roger’s book Waste Matters looks at the people he encountered whileworking in the family business in Bradford, while Dennis has produced a revised edition of Greenholme Mills Remembered, originally compiled by his late wife, Margaret.

The event is on Wednesday, April 16 at 7pm and will be held at Audley Clevedon, Ilkley. Tickets are £5, which includes refreshments, and can be obtained from the bookshop. Email: info@grovebookshop.com or call (01943) 609335.
