Addingham Parish Council is to hold a public meeting on Monday to keep residents informed about Bradford Council’s Core Strategy consultation.
The Parish Council is inviting residents to give their views on the plan and will provide advice on how people can make comments and submit a response to Bradford Council.
Consultation on the Core Strategy – the central part of the forthcoming Bradford District Local Plan – began last Monday and will last for six weeks.
The strategy currently recommends 200 new homes should be built in the village by 2030.
Comments on the Draft Strategy will have to be made in writing and be received by Bradford Council before 5pm on March 31.
The meeting will take place at Bracken Ghyll Golf Club, starting at 7.30pm.
Visit bradford.gov.uk for more information on the Core Strategy and taking part in the consultation.
Documents are also available for inspection, by appointment only, at Ilkley Town Hall on Tuesdays and at Ilkley Library.
