Christmas puddings were snapped up by parents at Burley Oaks Primary School last weekend when they attended the school’s annual festive fair.
Organisers say the event enjoyed the best ever attendance from villagers.
Stalls, games, cakes and activities were available as well as a chance to meet Santa in his grotto.
Headteacher Roy Pallas said: “We wrapped up some Christmas puddings with a Burley Oaks cover and they seemed to go down very well.
“It was very busy this year – it was a lovely day and I suppose a lot of villagers welcomed the chance for a stroll out.
“We were very pleased with the support from parents and the village.”
