BRAD Halliday dominated the prizes at City’s awards evening.

Halliday, who has excelled at right wing-back under Graham Alexander, was recently named in the League Two team of the season.

And he pretty much swept the board at last night’s club ceremony at the Cedar Court Hotel.

Halliday was named player of the year and the players’ player of the year as he scooped six awards.

He was also honoured by City Away Travel, Bingley Bantams, Shipley Bantams and East Bierley Bantams.

Bobby Pointon won goal of the season for his Valley Parade belter against Tranmere on Good Friday and the Bantams Trust young player of the year.

Prolific under-18s striker Harry Ibbitson, who travelled with the squad for the Barrow game, was crowned Neil Matthews Bantams academy player of the year.

The best defensive action award was won by keeper Sam Walker for his save from Wrexham’s Steven Fletcher.

Mia Jacobs was named women’s player of the year and Matilda Fernie the girls player of the year.

Mark Dalton won the disability men’s player of the year and Jane Jowett the female. Shane Lundy Naylor won the junior award.
