IF City beat Newport on Saturday, they would equal the 69-point tally of Phil Parkinson’s team from the last promotion season in 2013.
But they will still need helpful results elsewhere to sneak into the last play-off position.
A win for either Crawley at home to Grimsby or Barrow, who host promoted Mansfield, would put them out of reach regardless of the Valley Parade outcome.
For the Bantams to make it, they must record a fifth straight victory – and hope that Crawley lose or draw and Barrow are beaten.
So here's the maths ...#bcafc must beat Newport

Barrow must lose to Mansfield
Crawley must not win against Grimsby
Mathematically, City could still overtake Barrow if the Bluebirds draw – but only if they thrashed Newport by seven!
City’s win last night lifted them to ninth place, their highest position of the season.
Whatever happens at the weekend, they are at least guaranteed a top-half finish. That was something that looked well beyond them a month ago.
City are still 5/1 outsiders to make the play-offs, according to this morning's odds with William Hill. Barrow are 8/11 and Crawley evens.
