GUISELEY Art club recently presented Rob Thompson with the P.J Hunt Trophy. During their recent annual exhibition and sale, Rob's watercolour painting of Whitby was voted as the favourite painting by their visitors.

Visitor Mrs Benson won the draw prize, and was presented with a beautiful water colour painting by Howard Carlisle. Guiseley Art club were delighted with the attendance and sales at their latest exhibition.

“We had a fantastic exhibition with lots of new members artwork, our attendance and sales were up on last year, which made it a very successful event, we will certainly be up another exhibition, next year,” said spokesperson Nicola Wardle.

They would like to thank the public for their continued kind generosity. As a result they will be making a small donation to Meningitis Now.

They would also like to thank their members who collectively pulled together to put on the event and for producing such a wide variety of high quality artwork and crafts.
