BARNOLDSWICK Town secured a 3-3 draw against Lower Breck in a thrilling game at Silentnight Stadium on Saturday.

Barnoldswick had a great start and almost scored inside three minutes when Ben Ashton was brought down on the edge of the box, but the free kick was dragged wide.

Andy Hill put Town 1-0 up in the sixth minute when he finished off a brilliant Jack Foster move.

Barlick doubled their lead when the in-form Foster’s excellent left foot strike put the home side up 2-0.

Lower Breck pulled one back on 20 minutes when a suspected handball broke kindly for striker Jawad Jebrin.

The visitors had a free kick in a dangerous position on 39 minutes but Town keeper Jordan Gidley did well to save it.

After Barlick led 2-1 at half time, Lower Breck equalised on 57 minutes when Thomas McNamara’s lovely strike from distance made it 2-2.

Jebrin broke free in the area and his second goal put the visitors 3-2 ahead.

Substitute Alexander Maloney came in the 69th minute and his thunderbolt hit the bar but bounced back to Hill who made no mistake to make it 3-3.

Town had two other close shots on goal but the exciting encounter ended 3-3.
