IN Division A of the Dales Council League, Bradford Moor won a low scoring thriller by three wickets against Savile Stars.

Three wickets apiece for Abid Hussain and Parth Naik saw the Stars bowled out for just 95, but in the end Moor were grateful for captain Asif Mahmood's 35, which saw them scramble over the line.

Elsewhere, first and third met at The Scott Hall Oval, where leaders Leeds Caribbean lost after being bowled out for 150 (Muhammad Faisal 5-30) by Woodhouse, who had scored 222-6 thanks to Muhammad Toseef (111).

Thornbury also lost at home when they were bowled out for 187 in reply to the 256 set by fellow high-flyers Halifax Direct.

One Stop thumped 275-9 (Raza Ali 101no, Mark Wilson 4-33) and then bowled out Cookridge for 201 for victory.

The bottom two met at Fulneck, where Pudsey St Lawrence could only muster 89-9. Drighlington replied with 90-4, despite Joshua Allinson taking a hat-trick.

In Division B, the top two in the division met at Park Avenue, with Interlink making 177-8 (Irfan Jamadar 67, Touseef Ahmed 5-32), before ending Thornbury B’s 100 per cent record by bowling them out for 146 to take over at the top.

At Mayfield Terrace, Shipley Providence were bowled out for 110 by the home side, who replied with 113-6 to move into second place.

Top score of the day came at Church Lane, where Tong Park Esholt amassed 294-6, as Chris Williams (156no) and William Murray (52no) shared an unbeaten seventh wicket partnership of 127.

However, in a rain effected second innings, Adel held on for 89-9 in 33 overs for the draw.

At Smithy Lane, Cookridge B made 142 (Dave Kennard 38, Alex Pearson 4-31) against Muff Field, who in reply were bowled out for 133.

Baildon scored 251-9 (Simon Bullock 78, Ayaan Khokhar 4-41) and then dismissed lowly Pudsey Congs for 95 (Vas Rajagopalan 52) for victory.

The top two also met in Division C at Richmond House School, where Rodley were bowled out for 121 (Giles Constantine 5-30, Adam Livingstone 4-25) by St Chads Broomfield, who were dismissed for only 89 in reply.

At Scatcherd Lane, Morley made 258-7 (Harvey Winn 140) and then bowled out St Chads Broomfield B for 101 (Ravi Shah 57) to move into second spot.

At Station Road, a second wicket partnership of 145 by Danny Hunt (96) and Jamie Denison (82no) helped Baildon B to a total of 253-2, before they held Drighlington B to 191-8 (Ashfaq Sheikh 49) for victory.

At Redrow Sports, Cookridge C were bowled out for only 79 after being put in to bat by Mayfield B, who replied with 80-1 for an easy victory.
