HAWORTH'S Central Park is flying the flag.
It is among five Bradford Council-run parks across the district to again receive the coveted Green Flag Award.
The scheme, run by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy on behalf of the Department for Communities and Local Government, provides a benchmark standard for parks and green spaces in the UK.
Councillor Sarah Ferriby, the council's executive member for environment, sports and culture, said: "We are extremely proud of the wonderful parks we have in our district.
"I would like to offer congratulations to the hard-working staff who look after our parks throughout the year.
"We are also lucky to have help from countless volunteer groups of 'friends'."
