WALKERS enjoying a ramble in the Laycock area of Keighley are being urged to take a litter-picker!
Bradford Council neighbourhoods staff are staging a ‘walking litter-pick’ and drop-in, based at Laycock Village Hall, on Saturday, April 8. They and ward councillors will be at the hall – between 10.30am and noon – to distribute litter-pickers, gloves, bags and high-visibility vests.
“This is a chance for anyone concerned about litter on footpaths to help clear it up,” said officer Liz Parker. E-mail liz.parker@bradford.gov.uk or call 01535 618008.
