News that the Government plans to double funding for dementia research has been warmly welcomed by Ilkley and Keighley MP Kris Hopkins.
Mr Hopkins said he hoped the move would act as a catalyst for a global effort to tackle the condition. Annual funding will reach £132million by 2025.
“This really is very good news which underlines the Government’s absolute commitment to tackling dementia,” said Mr Hopkins.
