Otley Poppy Appeal success
The Otley branch of the Royal British Legion is celebrating raising more than £12,700 from this year’s Poppy Appeal.
The total collected to date for the appeal stands at £12,765. The Legion’s Otley branch would like to thank all of its volunteers and the local Waitrose and Sainsbury’s for supporting the appeal.
The collection at Sainsbury’s raised £3,593, which included a contribution from Kate Hobson who stayed after her shift to collect £288.50.
