The Ilkley Summer Festival finale Concert on the Grove had the best attendance of events in recent years, says Ilkley Parish Council chairman, Councillor Mike Gibbons.
Coun Gibbons told the Council, which organised the open-air event on Saturday, it was the best-attended concert for a few years.
“Everyone seemed to have a happy time, which is what it’s all about, and hopefully people will go away with some nice thoughts,” he said.
The concert featured Fox Corner, the Marsden Prize Silver band, soprano Victoria Sharp and tenor Graham Campbell Russell.
It ended with a firework finale on the edge of Ilkley Moor.
