A planting session to brighten up Yeadon is being organised by Aireborough Civic Society.
Anyone who wants to help is asked to meet on Monday, at 10am, outside Morrisons by the planters on Yeadon High Street.
Volunteers should bring their own trowels and gloves. The session will concentrate on three main planting areas – the planters on the ‘island’ outside Morrisons, window boxes on the town hall, and Harper Lane barrier baskets and tubs next to the bus stop. Any plants remaining will be used on the roundabout at the top of the High Street.
