An Ilkley councillor has called for a badly damaged stone mounting block on Wells Road to be repaired or replaced.
Councillor Anne Hawkesworth (Ind, Ilkley) has reported the smashed stone feature to Bradford Council.
She said various artefacts of Ilkley’s Victorian past, including a post box, sheep pens, and mounting blocks, were of “great importance” to the town.
