Random acts of chivalry and an abseil down the Cow and Calf Rocks by men in tuxedos marked St George’s Day in Ilkley on Tuesday.
Passers-by in the town centre were given flowers by a group smartly-dressed models, and other acts of chivalry included offering to pay for one lucky shopper’s groceries in a supermarket.
The promotional activities marked the launch of a new clothing brand, Johnny Tuxedo, by Ilkley businessman Austen Pickles.
He believes the James Bond-style fashion will start a “black-tie revolution” for younger men.
