Band concert to spread festive cheer in Ilkley

Festive cheer will be in the air on Saturday during a special Christmas concert.
Yorkshire Volunteers Band will perform at the event, which collects money for the Otley-based charity Hang On To A Dream. The organisation aims to make the dreams come true for terminally and seriously ill children.
The event, organised by Councillor Nigel Francis in conjunction with Major Jack Boden and the band, will start at 7.30pm. Doors at the King’s Hall open at 6.45pm.
Tickets are priced £7 for adults, concessions £5, and boxes with four seats are £30. Call Ilkley Tourist Information Centre on (01943) 602319.
