Meeting of French past
A GOLDEN Globe-nominated French film will be shown at Otley Courthouse tonight.
The Past, directed by Asghar Farhadi, focuses on estranged couple Ahmad and Marie as they meet up in Paris to finalise divorce procedures.
Things take an unexpected turn when Ahmad attempts to improve the troubled relationship between Marie and their teenage daughter, Lucie.
The film, starring Berenice Bejo, Ali Mosaffa and Tahar Rahim, begins at 7.45pm – doors open at 7pm. Admission costs £4.
