Jack Lampkin and Scott Clarkson
Ilkley golfers, Jack Lampkin and Scott Clarkson, both 19, contested the Harrogate Union Matchplay Final at Pannal on Sunday.
Lampkin made the better start going two up after three holes. Scott managed to claw one hole back and might have taken the lead if his putter had not let him down.
At times the quality of golf was high with the 10th and 11th halved with birdies.
Lampkin also birdied 13 to go two up and maintained that lead, the match finishing on the 17th which both players bogyed. Lampkin winning the title, 2&1.
