Ilkley Town Football Club are holding their first ever Family Fun Day tomorrow at the Ben Rhydding Sports Club from 12-5pm.
It is part of a bumper afternoon, with the venue hosting Ilkley’s pre-season friendly against Ossett United at 3pm, which finishes in perfect time for England’s Euro 2024 quarter-final against Switzerland at 5pm.
There will be a host of inflatables at the fun day, including bouncy castles, slide and soccer shoot out.
There is also face painting, football skills games and mini matches on offer, as well as chance to soak the coach and beat the goalie.
Attendees will also get entry to Ilkley’s game against Ossett included in the price of their fun day ticket, so this is a great way to keep kids outdoors and active while supporting the local football club.
For junior members, there are also end of year presentations plus a half time parade.
Ilkley Brewery are hosting a pop-up bar, an ice cream van is booked, and Sam’s is open for hot food and drinks.
Family tickets cost just £10 and include all entertainment, plus entry to the first team fixture.
Individual tickets for the Family Fun Day are £4 for adults and £2 for children. Under-5s are free.
Tickets are available in advance via the Ilkley Town website, and volunteers can still come along to help with the event, for which they will receive a free family ticket and refreshments in return.
