GUISELEY have confirmed that young central midfielder Ethan Cartwright has left the club.

The 21-year-old played six games for the Lions towards the back end of last season, enough to earn him a second spell at the club, as they brought him back to Nethermoor in June.

He made another six appearances for Guiseley at the start of this season, but was then loaned out to Belper Town.

With his spell now over at Belper, he has not gone back to Nethermoor, instead signing for Matlock Town, who are currently alongside Guiseley in mid-table in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.
