ILKLEY rider Daniel Hole stormed to success at the Bradford Motor Club Trial held at Hagg Farm, Embsay.
The Bradford club headed for Embsay village a few miles north of Skipton to run their mid-week trial at the popular Hagg Farm venue where 38 competitors rode a compact eight-section course that featured streams and grassy gradients. The event was milder than in previous Club status trials.
Maybe a little too easy when veteran Steve Wicks headed a trio of clean sheet contenders.
Hole won the hard route class on a dab on lap two. Lucy Ayrton was right on Hole until she indulged in two dabs in section seven.
Class A youth Alfie Carney ran off with Clubman B losing just five marks.
Bradford will run again on August 17 at Lumb Waterfall, Cowling.
Results: Hard course: Novices: 1 Daniel Hole (Beta) 1, 2 Lucy Ayrton (TRS) 3 fc, 3 Arron Crowder (Gas Gas) 3. Youth Class B: 1 Archie Wellock (TRS) 39, 2 Luke Pearson (TRS) 59, 3 Jamie Preston (Beta) 64.
