THE Airedale & Wharfedale Senior Cricket League holds its flagship event this Sunday with the staging of the Waddilove Cup Final.
The match, starting at noon, is between first division Rawdon and Steeton of the second division.
Rawdon, currently lying second in the table, are the holders of the Waddilove Cup, having beaten Pool in a high scoring encounter this time last season.
Steeton however, are not to be underestimated following their impressive victory over league leaders Otley in a fine semi-final performance.
The match takes place at the Olicanian club in Ilkley, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year.
The staging of the final is significant for the club, which just three years ago sustained a serious fire, completely destroying the existing timber pavilion.
