SATURDAY saw the return of the Ilkley Summer 7s Festival and it certainly didn't disappoint.
It was the usual rugby bonanza, a day full of matches and entertainment for all involved, with over 30 teams including male elite, male social and female all battling it out to claim the winning prizes.
Harrogate Ladies RUFC, Speranza22, Bradford GS RUFC, Ilkley 1s and Set 5 Psychos claimed the awards but the day as a whole was the real winner, with the sun shining and the community coming together to enjoy a thrilling day of rugby.
Via their social media, Ilkley Rugby Club said: "What a weekend!
"We'd just like to say a huge thank you to all our organisers, sponsors, vendors, players, coaches and spectators who attended the La Casita Ilkley Summer 7s Festival.
"The sun came out in the end., and a full day of cracking rugby topped off another fantastic festival this year.
"We'd also just like to say a big thank you to our Head of Rugby and Organiser for the 7s tournament, Rhys Morgan, who has put so much time and effort into making the day run smoothly."
