GUISELEY'S home game with Brackley Town tonight has been called off.
A pitch inspection took place at Nethermoor at 11:30am this morning following a heavy downpour of rain after Storm Eustice and Storm Franklin had already caused problems with the Nethermoor Park playing surface over the weekend and into Monday.
The referee has called off the game because of a waterlogged pitch, the Blyth Spartans game on Saturday was the first at Nethermoor to be called off because of a waterlogged pitch in well over two years.
A new date for the fixture will be announced as soon as possible.
The Lions are back at Nethermoor on Saturday March 12 when Boston United visit.
