Tom Smith struck twice for Ilkley at St Helens on Saturday
RED hot Ilkley Town claimed a third straight win to move further away from the danger zone.
Ilkley won 5-2 at basement side St Helens Town – also a fourth victory in six games.
The turnaround from Sam Dexter’s side has been outstanding and they go into the last 11 games looking up the table rather down.
Tom Smith (2), Harry Brown, Kevin Gonzalez and Nathan Hunt scored for Ilkley in what was another statement performance from the Baht’atters.
They return to action this Saturday when they host Chadderton (3:00 PM).
