ILKLEY Town had to face another gameless matchweek at the weekend due to a powercut at Ben Rhydding Sports Club, the home of Town.
The hosts were set to welcome Daisy Hill, a game which had the ingredients for an exciting fixture, but now the game will be moved to a later date.
Ilkley do return to action this Saturday, when they travel to Cleator Moor Celtic (3:00 PM).
It could be a huge fixture in deciding Ilkley's semi-professional status come the end of the season because of the positioning of the two sides in the league table. Town have fallen into the bottom three, while Cleator Moor sit one place above the drop zone, but Town do have a game in hand on their opposition.
Ilkley town Seconds did however complete their fixture at the weekend, battling to a 2-1 win away at Wetherby Athletic . Town had to play the second half with ten men, but first half goals from Gareth Pickup and Hughes ensured the three points for Town.
