LIKE Ilkley Rugby Club, Ilkley Town also had another absent weekend from league action.

Town have had to endure a frustrating few weeks on that front, only playing once out of the last four game weeks.

Thy drew last weekend in a 0-0 stalemate at home to Atherton Laburnum Rovers side, but once again had a weekend off on the following (6th).

And speaking about his side's lack of game time in recent weeks, manager Simon Armstrong, said: "Two weeks is a long time to be not playing, especially with so many games to play.

"It's just a bit frustrating because we haven't been able to play as much as we'd have like to, but we can't really help what goes on behind the scenes with the fixture side of things."

Thankfully for Ilkley, they do have a good run of fixtures coming up- starting this weekend.

Town travel to Golcar United on Saturday for a 3:00 PM ko, hopefully regaining momentum.
