ONE of the most-loved characters in the Harry Potter movie series has confessed he used to play for Guiseley Football Club as a teenager.
Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom in the eight-movie franchise, tweeted he once starred for the Lions when he was 17.
It means Lewis was in the process of filming the 2007 Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix picture whilst strutting his stuff at Nethermoor.
Who knew the Horsforth-born actor and former St. Mary's Menston Catholic Voluntary Academy pupil was not only using his magic at Hogwarts.
Flash forward to the present and Russ O'Neill and Marcus Bignot could certainly use some of that wizardry this season with their team dangerously floating above the relegation zone.
