Ilkley captain Kath Chivers and Bernice Cawthra of Bradford Children’s Charity Circle
ILKLEY Golf Club started their food collection for Bradford Children’s Charity Circle with a ladies Christmas competition.
The two Ilkley Captains, Kath Chivers and Richard Sutherland, are supporting the registered charity which helps locally deprived children. Members have been donating food, toiletries and cleaning materials.
Chivers said “ I am thrilled with the response that we have received with many boxes of food donated.
"I am sure that this will make a real difference to some of the most vulnerable children in our district.”
55 ladies competed in the Christmas competition. Angela Harrison, Dottie Cartwright and Margaret Dodd were the winners.
