BRADFORD Council have announced today that all of its grass sports pitches will be closed this weekend (February 15-16).
This is due to the saturated condition of the pitches and because further heavy rain is expected from Storm Dennis, following on from last week's terrible weather courtesy of Storm Ciara.
This is the first such closure the Council has had to make this year and it has said it is hopeful that fixtures will be back to normal if the weather and ground conditions improve for the following weekend.
