ILKLEY ladies scratch team brought back the Harrogate & District Union Silver Championship trophy, having won the title for two consecutive years.
The competition was entered by 61 ladies from 12 golf clubs in the area and was held at Knaresborough Golf Club.
The winning Ilkley team included Fiona Wood, Melody Svenson, Sue Atkins and Julia Bennett with the three lowest gross scores counting.
Wood came second in the field with an impressive score of 80 gross, just 2 over CSS while Svenson came fourth and second team member Kath Chivers finished eighth.
This follows a very credible result in the Hawksworth Salver competition at Bradford three days earlier, when the Ilkley team came third in the gross competition and the second team were runners up in the handicap salver.
Representing the gross team were Wood, Svenson and Gail Austin and the second team consisted of Atkins, Kath Chivers and Judith Booth.
