PERENNIAL finalists Otley and Burley-in-Wharfedale will meet again after high scoring victories in the semi-finals of the TB T20 Cup.

All the teams entertained healthy crowds on a glorious sunny evening last Thursday.

Ilkley visited Otley and had their hosts in early trouble at 30-3.

Ilkley were then put to the sword by Dave Hester and Oliver Halliday in a mammoth stand of 170 as Otley finished their innings 200-3.

Hester hit a magnificent 108 from just 56 balls, backed up by Halliday with 64 from 40 balls.

Ilkley's reply stuttered with wickets falling regularly as they ended well short on 139-9. No 9 Chris Quaife top-scored with 26, Damon Reeve leading the Otley bowling effort with 3-9.

At Burley, the home side racked up an impressive total of 191-5, which only just proved enough against a valiant Addingham response.

Red Bolton entertained with 46 for Burley.

Addingham were over 100 at the halfway point of their chase and a shock looked on the cards.

Robbie Miller (44), Ricky Palacio (32) and Ted Haggas (34) all kept the visitors in the hunt but Joe Hall's 4-29 stint just turned the tie in Burley's favour. Addingham finished just short on 180 all out.

The final between Burley and Otley will be played on Thursday, July 4, at Burley's ground.

The tournament is sponsored by Greenholme Mills Carpets, Brook Cleaning Services and PC Sports.
